Buffalo always good

I have always loved Buffalo meat. This flavor gives it a nice kick, but not overpowering in any way. Even though my flavor profile prefers hotter foods I did like how this jerky tasted.

Hot Buffalo Jerky

The jerky was stringy and like it had bristle in it. I expected to have very little fat and easier to eat since Buffalo meat is low in fat. I called and talked to Kate and told her that was my only issue. Shipping time was good, and the HOT was what I was expecting. It was a wet style and that was fine, dry, or wet is fine with me. I did not know if wild game was tougher than just beef. I was not unsatisfied, but maybe a little surprised I guess.
