I bought this for a friend who loves hot jerky. He loved it.
I'm not really a fan of moist tender jerky so it's usually impossible for me to come by the dry and tough jerky I really enjoy on the market. Decided to sample this product and not a hint of regret! A good amount of strips per bag, very dry, takes quite a few minutes to chew, and the hickory smoked flavor was exactly what I was looking for! There's a bit more of a peppery aftertaste of spice than I initially anticipated but that really wasn't a problem at all as I went through two bags! If you enjoy jerky that takes minutes of good chewing with nice flavoring I highly recommend this one.
I like this style a lot and find it hard to find. I find it a little to peppery. But I still like it
