I purchased this as a gift this Christmas for a friend who loves licorice. The transaction had some bumps along the way as a few days after my initial order I received a phone call saying that the package had been returned to Jerky.com and was completely destroyed. They weren't sure what had happened but were sending me out a new package immediately. I was pleased with the quick response and notification from the company on the status of my order (I'm also glad I ordered way before Christmas as unforeseen things do happen). About a week later when my package arrived, I was slightly disappointed as I had ordered the 12 Licorice gift box and a few other items. Only one box arrived with everything shoved inside including my packing slip and no gift box. It was also glued shut so I had to basically rip the package apart to retrieve the contents. I sent a quick email to the company asking about the gift box and if this was normal or if it was possibly caused due to the quick rush of sending out another package as the previous one had been returned. Within 24 hours I received a phone call from Jared stating that it definitely should had come with a gift box and he was going to get a package out immediately. A few days later the gift box package shows up with a hand written apology letter, a small gift card, a "stocking" filled with various items and the gift box. One of the extra items received was a pack of strawberry licorice which was awesome because I had not had the opportunity to try the licorice prior to giving the gift. After having tried the licorice I'm confident they will enjoy the gift even more. It is extremely good and flavorful. I know this was a long winded review but I wanted to thank Jerky.com and Jared for his customer service and will definitely be ordering from this company again. Mistakes do happen but they were able to resolve them quickly and effectively without any hassle. Greatly appreciated.
