Loved this Jerky, especially the Black Pepper flavor, excellent quality.
Extra hot is crazy hot! The absolute hottest jerky i've ever tasted. I bet noone can eat it without taking a drink. lol I loved all the spices on it, you can actually see and taste the flavor, if that makes any sense. I recommend though.

04/13/2009I received my order of Teriyaki Jerky on today. I am more than pleased. Because I am on a restricted, high protein diet, I have to be very careful about my sodium intake. I love teriyaki flavored beef jerky but the ones in the stores just have absolutely too much sodium. The House of Jerky is absolutely wonderful. It isn't too salty, it's moist, and doesn't chew like a piece of old leather. I'm sold.
An example of why House of Jerky has the best jerky ever! Love that it is all natural and strips of beef. Superior flavor.

09/23/2008HOUSE OF JERKY TERIYAKI BEEF JERKY - House of Jerky is a premium brand of jerky that uses no preservatives and no MSG. Their claim to the quality of their beef jerky lies in the fact that they use only premium, grass fed cattle beef that is cut into lean, whole premium top round steak which is not ground, chopped, or processed. Having had a couple different types of House of Jerky products, I can tell they are not lying. After opening the bag and taking a look inside, I was greeted by relatively thick cut pieces that looked as moist and tempting as I had hoped for. The bag smelled like it should have for this flavor, and actually had almost a citrus-like scent infused with it. I dug into the bag after my initial overview with high hopes. The first piece I had, unfortunately, was rather tough and hard to chew. Even though it was moist, it was actually quite tough and that kind of threw me for a loop. To be honest, the piece itself was pretty stringy and took quite a while to finish. Fortunately, the flavor remained for the entire duration I was eating the piece. While it had very good flavor throughout with a good aftertaste, I was a little disappointed by the texture and tenderness, or in this case, the lack thereof. Don’t get me wrong - this is still a great tasting jerky, but in my opinion, the tenderness really detracted from the overall taste. If you like tough jerky, this is the stuff for you! It’s very moist and flavorful, but it is definitely going to take some chewing to get it down. I’m rating this jerky a 6 out of 10, mostly due to the toughness, but it’s still a good jerky to try.
House of Jerky's Natural flavor is amazing! House of Jerky is so addicting - all of the flavors!! Everyone in the office LOVED it and I hated to share but I'll definitely come back for more!!

06/23/2009Excellent tasting beef jerky. YUMMY! Love the texture and the big slab. Reminds me of the beef jerky we use to get at a general store when we went camping in the mountains. I ordered the Original. I'm now ordering two more packs, the BIG ones. THANK YOU for making my day!!!!
i LOVE LOVE LOVE this slab beef jerky. I like having a huge piece to chew off of, i feel that it is more like eating traditional beef jerky instead of popping bite size pieces in my mouth. I get to rip off big bites this way. I have only had the Cajun and Original [the cajun flavor is my favorite] but that sweet & spicy is calling my name! I dont know why beef jerky slabs aren't more popular, i think they are the best. Thanks.
