Jerky.com – Teriyaki Turkey Jerky

This time of year there’s usually only one thing on my mind and that’s Thanksgiving, and that only means one thing…Turkey!! To help get myself in the mood I thought I’d kick of the month of October with some good ole’ American Turkey Jerky. Since I’m also feeling a bit adventurous I also thought I’d go for some with some Teriyaki Flavoring. Please welcome this weeks spotlight, Jerky.com Teriyaki Turkey Jerky.
As you probably know by now, one thing that Jerky.com has managed to do well is make a variety of jerky types and make them full of flavor. Sticking to what they do best, the Turkey is not only grown and raised here on America’s farmlands, it’s natural whole breast meat with absolutely zero preservatives. The meat is also hand-cut and all of the ingredients are all-natural as well. Although it’s a little higher in sugar content than other jerky types because of the teriyaki flavoring it’s still a very high source of protein and is very lean…around 98% if you can believe that!
Since Jerky.com had two different bag sizes for this stuff and the 1/2 pound bag was cheaper per ounce I opted for that one because I’m a cheap-skate. The smaller 3 ounce bags retail for $9.99 and the ‘Big Pack’ as they refer to it goes all day for $18.99, remember though that free shipping always applies over there. I enjoyed my bag, but what about you? The product page on Jerky.com boasts a customer review rating of 4 1/2 stars out of 5, so it must be pretty good right??

i didnt love this jerky but the price is still good for what ya get
very sweet with a natural turkey flavoring coming through on every bit. You get exactly what you buy in this case.
the calories from fat are little higher than most

Way too sweet for jerky. Almost like we got a batch where someone dropped the meat into a vat of sugar water.
