Since it’s inception a decade ago, the Western Cut type of jerky by Buffalo Bills has proven that variety is the key. A product that was designed to appeal to a different market than that of it’s “sister jerky”, the Country Cut. Western Cut pieces (bite-size) differ in that they are sliced thinner during prepping, to achieve a dryer, yet still tender kind of jerky. A feat that many feel they have achieved on all 5 of the flavors they offer. Original, Black Pepper, Sweet and Spicy, Teriyaki, and of course Cajun. A spicy concoction of 3 different kids of peppers and some crushed chili for an extra boost. With 17 grams of protein per serving and only 90 calories, I can see why these solid pieces of beef have a loyal following. So ask yourself, are you a Western-Cut or a Country-Cut?

Boasting a shelf life of well over 4 months and convenient resealable bags, in my opinion there’s not a better choice for a snack food. But I’ll leave that up for you to decide and whether or not the Western Cut Cajun makes the grade.
