The Price per ounce is pretty good...under $2/oz. including shipping. I would like to see a resealable bag on it, out of principle...BUT...it really doesn't stick around long enough for me to need it. Good taste, good quality, fits the moist and tender bill pretty well. If you like soft jerky, you can't go wrong with this one.
Taste is pretty good. Pepper usually isn't my first choice...but the flavor was good. Not as sweet as I would have expected it to be for the 'Honey" part of the name. But sweetness is detectable.
It's made in the U.S. from U.S. made beef...which is important to me. A couple of artificial ingredients, but not too much. Natural ingredients dominate the label.
It's definately moist and tender but not as soft as I was expecting...which is a good thing. I don't want mush! It's a little thicker than most jerky products...but not by much. Good texture.
Although I wasn't able to taste the honey much, it was so tender and moist and with the pepper added in, this was an excellent jerky at a decent price.
Was looking for something more sweet tasting with 'honey' in the name but the pepper still provided a great taste that was unexpected.
Made in the US, need I say more?
Was surprised at how tender and moist it was. The thickness was perfect.
It's hard to give this jerky a bad rating, especially since you can get it shipped to your door for less than $16 for a 1/2 pound. Overall a very good value, but the taste is lacking a little. Would have again :)
The first thing you notice is the pretty strong peppery aroma even though the jerky isn't covered in it. I wished it had more of a kick.
My only complaint would be the feel of the jerky since it has a "film" of some sort on it. I would recommend it however.
Kinda has a greasy film to it even though the ingredients wouldn't imply that it does. Very pliable, almost as if you think the meat is lower quality, but it's actually pretty good cuts of beef. The thickness is doesn't effect the tenderness of it either.
