IMG_2134The Buffalo Bills Premium Beef Jerky Pieces are one of Jerky.com all-time best selling products.  Let’s see if your feedback supports the stats.

Jerky.com carries the Buffalo Bills products for three main reasons: It is made in the U.S. with U.S. made ingredients, the products are of high quality, and they have a wide selection that appeals to almost every jerky lover.  They have traditional style jerky products for people who like old fashioned jerky and they also have a couple of soft & moist varieties for the people that prefer that to traditional jerky.  The Premium Beef Jerky Pieces are a traditional style of jerky with a traditional flavor – Hickory.  No fancy names, flavors, or packaging.  Just good old fashioned jerky. read more…

Steakhouse Beef Jerky – Chile Limon

July 27th, 2009

IMG_2127I am a sucker for beef jerky…what can I say?

I can’t help but to stop and look at any rack or shelf merchandising beef jerky products.  I’m usually looking for brands I have never seen before (or at the very least have not experienced) or flavors that are unique and/or interesting.  I am sure you have noticed that everyone has “original”, a “teriyaki”, and a “spicy” or “hot” versions.  But it’s the flavors that are less common that interest me.

Walking through the aisles of Walgreens I stumbled upon Chile Limon Beef Jerky by Steakhouse.  That’s definately not a flavor you run into very often.  Chalk up an easy sale for Walgreens.

This Steakhouse jerky is a brand made for Walgreens and was priced at $2.99 for a 2.75 ounce bag.  Thats about as inexpensive as beef jerky gets at $1.00ish/ounce.  There are a few things that stick out to me on the packaging: read more…

World Kitchens Teriyaki Beef Jerky

July 22nd, 2009

IMG_2057

World Kitchens claims right on the packaging that they are committed to bringing “the highest quality, finest tasting Beef Jerky for the best value”.  How does it stack up to their claims?

I have heard several customers compare products to World Kitchens beef jerky in other product reviews or general jerky talk (yes…I know talking about jerky in casual conversation is, at best, disturbing).  Usually what we hear is how good it is “for the money”.  I thought it was time to find out for myself.

This jerky can be had off of their website for $17.68 including shipping.  This is one of the lowest prices I have ever found one pound of beef jerky delivered to your door. read more…
