Not what I expected. It was disappointing. Greasy and all I could taste was the black pepper. Not happy at all.

As a bacon-freak myself, I was initially very excited when I received a 3-pack of Bacon Jerky as a Christmas present. I ripped open the "Summer BLT" flavor and popped a piece in my mouth. Unfortunately, it was pretty much the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. It was heavily smoked salt, coated in grease...and more salt...and then more salt. I assume bacon is in there somewhere, but it is indiscernable underneath all of that salt and smoke flavor. The texture is also less than pleasing, but I could probably forgive that if it actually tasted good, and if it were not covered in a paste of thick, white, greasy fat. After eating it, the awful flavor would not leave my mouth. Honestly, I am SHOCKED at these other reviews raving about how good this product is. I can't even bring myself to open the other flavors to see if they are any better, so I have given all of them to a friend to give to his dog. This was a terrible, terrible, disappointment.

I love bacon and jerky, so this was a really exciting find for me. Really yummy! And to top it off, it came with a handwritten note and toothpicks. They gave me a great product and made me feel like I was more than just a number- that's a combination that makes me a jerky.com fan. I'll be ordering more soon!!!

At first I was skeptical, But it is Bacon, so I gave it a whirl....big suprise it was great!!! Its bacon, gotta love it!!! Now I have to try them all!!

truly delicious and even though it's a little expensive, totally worth it. i tried the spicy version and it was awesome!! all bacon lovers should try it!

It's bacon jerky, what can possibly go wrong? I've bought this for myself and as gifts for other bacon-smitten friends. It's unanimously agreed: this stuff is awesome! We're partial to the honey BBQ, but the other flavors are great as well.

I must admit, I am a bacon fiend...so I will try anything that is made of, with, or like bacon. I have had many bacon snacks and wanna-be snacks and I can tell you this stuff is AWESOME! It is kinda greasy [you dont say...] but the flavor is absolutely awesome. It chews well and tastes even bettter. Its not the cheapest meat snack i have ever purchased but it is still worth the money. It isn't the kind of thing you eat all day every day...so its a great treat. I am sending some to several friends for Christmas to spread the Bacon Cheer! :]

All I have to say is thanx. This stuff is the best. It's like the texture of a soft jerky, but all the flavor that comes with smoked bacon. I recommend that everyone try this at least twice. BACON! BACON! Love it.

Good Lord thats a lot of flavor! I just tried the Cajun and it was basically mind-blowing. It has a great texture, the slice was nice and thick and the seasoning they put on it was to die for. Now its time to try the bacon jerky :]
